(NASDAQ: HSTX), a leading provider of wireless solutions that enable the evolution of next-generation fixed and mobile broadband networks, today announced president and CEO Harald Braun has been awarded the prestigious title of International Telecom CEO of the Year 2009 by IT & Telecom Digest at the Eight Nigerian Information Technology & Telecom Awards.  The awards are selected based on public votes, overseen by a panel of industry judges.

IT & Telecom Digest is one of Africa’s most prestigious telecoms titles. Using a network of senior reporters from across the world, including South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates and the USA, the publication offers international and local insight into the telecoms market.
