Harris Stratex Networks Updates Q4 Revenue Guidance
Estimates Revenue will be below prior guidance. Stronger Gross Margin.
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Aug. 7, 2009 — Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSTX), a leading provider of wireless solutions that enable the evolution of next-generation fixed and mobile broadband networks, today updated its revenue guidance for the quarter ending July 3, 2009.
The company revised its revenue estimate for its fourth fiscal quarter to approximately $135 million. A portion of the revenue that was anticipated to be recorded in Q4 FY 2009 has been determined to be deferred revenue and will be recorded as revenue in a subsequent period. Despite lower than expected revenue, the Company believes that an increase in gross margin will allow it to meet or exceed the First Call mean estimates for earnings per share of $0.02. These results are subject to completion of the Company’s closing process and preparation of its financial statements.
The Company will release its earnings report for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year 2009, on August 18 at 1:30 PM U.S. Pacific time.
