RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, February 8, 2008 – Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSTX), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, will showcase its Eclipse™ Carrier Ethernet over Wireless™ transport solution in Hall 2-0, booth 2F27, at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, from February 11-14.

At the show, Harris Stratex will highlight its ongoing participation in the multi-vendor Mobile Backhaul Interoperability Test and Showcase, organized by the European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) and supported by both the IP/MPLS Forum and the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF). Harris Stratex clearly demonstrates the ability of the Eclipse Carrier Ethernet over Wireless™ solution to support the functionality, performance and resilience required for tomorrow’s next-generation backhaul requirements by operating seamlessly within an MPLS, TMPLS and PBBTE network environment.

Eclipse supports side-by-side native transport of both TDM and Carrier Ethernet over the same link. This capability is essential for operators seeking a smooth, cost-effective migration path for existing mobile networks to support next-generation packet-based broadband applications. The Eclipse platform’s Liquid Bandwidth capability allows available capacity to be allocated to either voice or data traffic, purely through software control.
